The Pre-Arrival Services, funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), are managed by the International Talent Acquisition Centre (In-TAC) of the Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC)
We help to prepare the clients about to immigrate to Canada so that they have a faster, more efficient economic and social integration and a seamless connection with post-arrival services in Canada.
Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC)
Founded in 1975, the Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre is a non-profit organization funded by three levels of government. We provide a full range of settlement, employment and language services to newcomers in order to facilitate their integration into Canadian society. In 2015, OCCSC proudly celebrated 40 years of service to the community.
OCCSC is one of Ottawa’s longest-serving and most comprehensive immigrant service agencies with clients from over one hundred nations. The agency takes an integrated approach to helping individuals and families settle in the Ottawa community. We also offer clients, one-on-one counselling services and workshops that cover topics related to the immigration and settlement process.
Additionally, we have partner organizations in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.
