BDC-3: Getting the funds to start and run your own business

BDC-3: Getting the funds to start and run your own business

What is the process of getting the funds to start a business in Canada?

How are other newcomer entrepreneurs doing in Canada?

Entrepreneurship can be a great career path for newcomers to Canada. Join us for Part Three of our ‘Entrepreneurship in Canada’ series with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). BDC has launched a new program specifically created to address the needs of newcomer entrepreneurs. The Newcomer Entrepreneur Success Team (NEST) is there to help you navigate the process of financing and starting a business in Canada.

Join Sharon Connolly, of BDC’s NEST team in Toronto, Ontario, as we explore the different funding options available to newcomers who want to start a business in Canada, including BDC’s own Newcomer Entrepreneur Loan. During the session, Sharon will also be providing a snapshot of entrepreneurship in Canada, as well as real-life examples of newcomer entrepreneurs to Canada and how they have succeeded.
