Description

You will be a motivated FPGA designer for embedded projects within the domain of telecommunications, industrial controls and video surveillance which includes:

  • Developing video DSP algorithms, high-speed memory and bus interfaces such as DDR3/DDR4, HDMI, SDI, 1/10/40 GigE, PCIe, AXI, SPI, I2C, SATA
  • Developing quadrature modems from QPSK to high QAM
  • Developing high-speed data path engines to support JESD204B, 1/10GE, CPRI and others.
  • RTL design and verification including test benches, functional simulations and timing closure
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience and Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science
  • Experience in the RTL development using HDL development tools
  • Strong knowledge of HDL Languages (Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog)
  • Background in communications theory and DSP filter design and implementation
  • Mathematical analysis experience using Matlab or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge for standard serial, parallel and memory interfaces
  • Proven development skills using SoC FPGA’s
  • UVM and OVM methodologies
  • ARM multi-processor systems with embedded Linux
  • Experience with cores implementation and optimization and Hardware board level design experience
