Position Summary

 

 

 

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Regional Office Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of duties related to daily operations, maintenance, and administration of assigned location(s).

 

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Respond to tenants’ inquiries regarding account issues; policies & procedures
  • Audit incoming paperwork; ensuring MRI and tenants’ contact info are updated properly and accurately; and that suites are completed for move-ins
  • Data administration; input all new tenant info into system as soon as approvals obtained
  • Account reconciliation while processing move-ins
  • Create and manage tenant chargeback; issuing letters once charge back has been created
  • Coordinate accounts for auto debit with the Resident Managers
  • Manage lease renewals once processed and ensuring that Accounting has the required documents
  • Ensure that all documents are saved to the hard drive: move-ins, move-outs, applications
  • Provide direct administrative support to all team members
  • Follow-up with contractors on schedule dates and ensure completion
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Management, and/or Regional Managers

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications and Requirements

 

  • Post-secondary education in a related field of study and/or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Prior Property Management experience / sales experience will be an asset
  • Above average problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act and building systems
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Must possess a valid Alberta driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Must successfully complete a security clearance

 

Salary: $3000 PM
