Description

One of In-TAC’s Employer Partner is seeking to hire a software engineer on a one-year contract (with possibility for extension) to join its advanced networking research team.

In this position, the candidate will closely work with the networking research team to design, implement, and develop proof of concepts, emulators, and visualization gears to demonstrate innovative ideas involving new control and data planes for networks with hyper dynamic topologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong programming abilities and software engineering skills with backgrounds in different programming languages.
  • Background in Networking and routing protocols is a major asset.
  • Development experience on Linux environment.
  • Familiarity with Linux servers, different virtualisation technologies, and 3D Graphic Libraries such as OpenGL, WebGL, etc.
  • Comfortable working in the lab.
  • Fast learner, highly adaptable, and capable of working in a fast pace research environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
